This is a report on a School’s Exploration Society to the Zambezi basin Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) to various Iron Age sites which includes the ruins known as Ruswingo we Kasekete and Mutota. The polychrome decoration on some of the pottery found appears to be of the Zimbabwe Class 4 phase which can be dated as to the middle of the fifteenth century. Other pottery termed Musengezi Ware could not be linked to any previously recorded pottery. More recent pottery was also collected.
