The relationship between body weight and testis weight in male Impala (Apyceros melampus) was highly significant. There was no difference between the weight of the left and right testis. Using a simple smear technique a ram at 13 months of age is capable of fertilization. A marker increase in adult testis weight was observed a few months prior to the rutting season.
