Roan, Hippotragus equinus, and Sable Antelope, Hippotragus niger, were studied in the Tsetse Control Hunting Area in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Both are exclusive grazers and have overlapping range to the extent they can be seen together. Differences in their habitat, grazing behavior, patterns of movement to water, seasonal movements and calving are discussed.
