Dombozanga rock shelter is one of many shelters and caves in the Karroo System sandstone between the Shashi and Limpopo river Southern Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). There are a number of faded rock paintings in red ochre. The excavation of the site revealed Later Stone Age material of the specialised Wilton form throughout the deposits. The material used include chalcedony, vein quartz, silcrete, agate and indurated shale. A description of deposited collected is given. The Iron Age deposits were in the form of beads and pot sherds.
